The Best Budget Accommodation in Central Mumbai

 


Mumbai a city of dream of many Indians and for budget traveler to stay one night in a budget hotel in central Mumbai is just like a day dream due to cost of life in this business capital city of India. There are many Luxurious star hotels to budget guest house, hostel in Mumbai.

Central Mumbai is best place to stay for all tourist places in Mumbai but, if you are a budget traveler you should think twice before booking your hotel in this area coz of minimum budget accommodation in Mumbai is more than 1-k per night.

Pay more get more is just a deal of business however questions and curiosity are human nature and a traveler always wanted to stay in a secure place investing a little bit more than to stay in a budget hostel and in this pandemic of Covid-19 everyone wants to stay in a hygienic and safe hotel.

Since lock-down in India I never travel and cancelled my all trip between April-May of this year and after unlocking I have decided to travel in this month of November. Due to limited flight and connectivity issue from Pune airport I always prefer to travel from Mumbai. My flight time was at early morning so I have decided and planned to stay night in Mumbai to reach airport on time. I preferred to stay in a hotel accommodation instead of visiting anyone’s home in this pandemic.

As a budget traveler I searched hostel in Mumbai for one night and as per reviews on Google and other agents’ website I booked this hostel ‘’GoStops’’ for one night. I booked via one renowned travel agent MakeMyTrip and as per guidelines during booking Check-in time in hostel is 13:00 IST but I reached before 2 hrs. and thought they’ll charge me for advance check-in time but, they have not asked.

The manager of hotel welcomed me with a glass of water and contacted to owner about booking and I got impressed to explore their interior designing and antique collection. The manager arranged my stay in an AC room of 10th person with attached shared toilet as per my booking of room.

I found bed was very comfortable and all required things like cabin fan, cabin light and charging point are available along with 24/7 FREE Wi-Fi service and interesting thing is there are shared dining hall, books to read, games, drinking water and shared kitchen & a rooftop terrace to access with no extra cost and if you want than you can order or, takeaway meal to eat inside without any restriction.  In dining table, I met many young people and many are well educated and cultured never make you feel insecure and you can feel like Home away from home environment. They have different kind of accommodation as per budget in same hostel. I booked my bed for one night only in 380.00 INR offered by MakeMyTrip.



As per my experience for their friendly staff & service I will sure visit again.

The Hostel is located in a building name Rawal house on P D’Mello Road Opposite a Petrol pump which is just a walking distance (2.2 KM by walk) from CST Railway station and easily reachable using Google map.

Total distance by walk is 27 min (2.2 km)

1. Head south on Dr Dadabhai Naoroji Rd toward Mahapalika Marg
2. Turn left onto Walchand Hirachand Marg

4. Arrive at location: goStops Mumbai
